How The Process Works

Upon completion of the valuation process and confirmation that your property falls within our area of interest, we will contact you by telephone or email and thoroughly explain how our valuation was determined prior to making an offer to purchase or lease all or part of your mineral, royalty or working interest. Our representative will most likely make you a verbal offer at this time and also explain the terms of our standard Purchase and Sale Agreement that will be sent to you to review and execute upon your approval.

Purchase and Sale Agreement

Our company uses a short Purchase and Sale Agreement to set out the terms and conditions of our offer and secure an option to purchase or lease your interest during the due diligence period which is typically no more than 30-45 days. We will use this time to perform title research to confirm your ownership of the subject interest as well as to verify the oil and gas exploration eligibility of your property. Among other things, this Agreement will include an accurate description of the subject property, the agreed purchase or lease price per net acre, and the closing date for the transaction.

Closing

WV Resources will prepare all necessary documents for the closing including all Mineral Deeds, Assignments and any other documents required to legally bind the conveyance of the subject property to Apache at absolutely no cost to the interest owner. Closing funds are generally tendered via wire transfer.
